The Birthday Boy & Girl

I love the quote from Mark Twain: "Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been." What a privilege to be asked to photograph this lovely couple who are the parents of my dear friend.  They are soon to be celebrating a milestone birthday and I was asked to capture a photo to be shared in their honor. From these two people came two wonderful families I have dearly loved knowing and having as a part of my life. Congratulations to them both, I hope I can grow old with as much success and grace as they have!

Months ago, the beautiful Tara told me she would love to have me photograph her family surrounded by blossoms! So, we waited...and waited..and waited (rain, more rain...) Finally, I knew THE sunny day was approaching and Tara and I settled on a time and orchard.  It couldn't have been a more perfect Utah spring evening! I was thrilled with the shots we got and  loved working with this darling family. (Turns out that young master is quite the

Mr. Matt & Mrs. Collette + kids

What better thing to do on my wedding anniversary than photograph this beautiful family? My husband and I are good friends with Matt and Collette and think their children have some of the most gorgeous eyes in town! (They joke that the more children they had, the lighter their eyes and skin became...and if they would've had one more, that child would for sure have been albino! I think it would have been a darn cute albino!) Thanks to all seven of you for hanging out with me and capturing these moments...
